High-friction solution and lacks scalability
Current medication reminder solutions vs. Our solution
Pacific Life Technologies has a patented miniaturized sensor that can be embedded or externally attached to medicine packaging. (for example, the picture shows three types of medicine packages in which the sensor was used 1) regular pill bottle, 2) liquid medicine bottle, 3) syringe, 4) Asthma inhaler
A smartphone APP communicates with the Sensor and monitors events (e.g., a medicine bottle opened/closed, a button on an inhaler is pressed, a syringe is used, etc.) —the APP records that event on a Cloud database.
The Cloud-based application enables caregivers/investigators to monitor Patient’s engagement data in real-time and related analytics on a dashboard; for example, it can perform risk-based stratification and automatically alert Investigators/care providers to respond when Patient data shows anomalies.
The system can also be programmed to generate automated interventions based on pre-programmed rules and event data patterns of medicine-taking behavior. This action can help raise engagement over a baseline. It will also enable caregivers to monitor patients in real-time and allow patients to access related care and help on-demand
